GO Series: Transferring Files from Camera to PC
Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra
By connecting the camera to a computer using the original USB data cable, you can transfer photos and video files via the U-Disk Mode. Below you will find the connection and transfer steps to help you efficiently manage your files.
Instructions
GO 3 and GO Ultra
- Connect the camera to the computer using the original USB data cable.
- Turn on the camera. After the menu automatically pops up on the screen, select "U-Disk Mode".
- Open the DCIM > Camera01 folder on the computer to view and copy the files from the camera on the computer.
GO 3S
- Connect the camera to the computer using the original USB data cable.
- Turn on the camera. After the menu automatically pops up on the screen, select "U-Disk Mode".
- Set a password as prompted (it cannot be a 4-digit repeated number or a simple combination such as "1111" or "1234").
Please note:
- You need to enter the password every time you enter the U-Disk Mode subsequently (no limit on the number of incorrect attempts).
- If you forget the password, you need to connect to the Insta360 app to modify it (path: Tap "Me" at the bottom right corner of the app interface > "Other Settings" > "Set USB Mode Password"). A factory reset cannot reset the password.
- Please update the Insta360 app to the latest version to access the password modification entry.
