When the camera is used as a webcam, its video parameters are controlled by the external software. Some in-camera settings, such as resolution, mode, stabilization, FOV, and zoom, will be disabled.

2. Will the camera charge when connected to a computer as a webcam?

No, it will not charge. The computer only supplies power to the Action Pod and the camera.
