GO Series: Horizontal Misalignment, Tilted Image, or Gyroscope Malfunction

Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

Description

The camera exhibits issues such as inverted camera preview, flipped preview when connected to the Insta360 app, inverted captured footage, or upside-down flip screen display.

Solution

1. Check basic operations

a. Ensure the camera is kept level during shooting to avoid tilted images caused by inclination.

b. Ensure the camera firmware is updated to the latest version.

  1. Gyroscope calibration

Place the camera into the Action Pod, swipe down on the screen to access the Shortcut menu, then tap "Settings" > "Gyroscope Calibration"

  • If the screen remains unlevel after calibration: Restore factory settings.
  • If gyroscope calibration fails: Long-press the Action Pod’s power button to restart the camera and Action Pod, then restore factory settings.
