LUT (Look Up Table) is a tool used for color correction and style transformation. By applying the official LUT in the Insta360 app, you can quickly restore rich colors.

How to use LUT to restore colors

Videos shot in the I-Log Mode typically have a "grayish" tone, designed to preserve richer color information for easier editing during post-production. By using the LUT, you can restore the image to natural and vibrant colors with one tap. Please follow the steps below:

Method 1: Enable via the Player page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Album" at the bottom, select the media you want to edit, and enter the Player page.

• Path 1: Tap "Editor" > "LUT" > enable "Enable LUT".

• Path 2: Tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) in the upper-left corner of the page > find "Image Effects" > enable "LUT".

Method 2: Enable via the Edit page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Edit" > "Create a Video" > select the media you want to edit, tap "Next" > "Edit" > "LUT" > enable "Enable LUT".

Please note:

• Currently, the Insta360 app does not yet support batch export of video files with LUT applied.
• I-Log Media that has been uploaded to the cloud does not currently support adding LUT in the Insta360 app.

FAQ

1. Does the Insta360 app support batch color restoration with LUT and export?

Currently, batch exporting videos with LUT effects is not supported.

2. Why can't I find the LUT option in the Insta360 app for I-Log media uploaded to the cloud album?

I-Log media that has been uploaded to the cloud cannot currently have LUT effects applied directly in the Insta360 app.

You can download the I-Log media from the cloud album to the Insta360 app and then choose to apply LUT effects via the Player page or the Edit page.
