Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen, tap "Pro" > "Color Mode", and select "I-Log".
The camera supports 10-bit I-Log with 14 stops of dynamic range, preserving the most complete information of highlights, shadows, and colors and providing ample room for color grading in post-production.
I-Log can only be enabled in video modes, and the following features cannot be used with I-Log:
Yes. The 10-bit I-Log Mode of Insta360 Luna Ultra is natively compatible with DaVinci Resolve. In the Color Space Transform node, the Input Gamma section includes an "Insta I-Log" option. In addition, you can directly select the Insta360 LUT in DaVinci Resolve for color restoration, without needing to manually download it from Insta360 website and import it.
The color space of the I-Log final video is Rec.2020, but you can convert I-Log footage to a final video in any color space you need in post-production, such as ordinary Rec.709 SDR video or Rec.2020 Dolby Vision. If you need to create multiple different versions of the final video, we recommend that you shoot with I-Log first.
