If you wish to achieve more cinematic media by color grading during post-production, it is recommended to enable the I-Log Mode for shooting. 1. What bit depth does the I-Log Mode support?

The camera supports 10-bit I-Log with 14 stops of dynamic range, preserving the most complete information of highlights, shadows, and colors and providing ample room for color grading in post-production.

2. Which shooting modes support the I-Log Mode?

I-Log can only be enabled in video modes, and the following features cannot be used with I-Log:

• Adjust (Color Grading)
• Beautify
• Dolby Vision
• PureVideo

3. Are there Color Space Transform options for the I-Log Mode of Insta360 Luna Ultra in DaVinci Resolve?

Yes. The 10-bit I-Log Mode of Insta360 Luna Ultra is natively compatible with DaVinci Resolve. In the Color Space Transform node, the Input Gamma section includes an "Insta I-Log" option. In addition, you can directly select the Insta360 LUT in DaVinci Resolve for color restoration, without needing to manually download it from Insta360 website and import it.

4. What is the color space of the I-Log final video? Does it support exporting to Dolby Vision after color grading?

The color space of the I-Log final video is Rec.2020, but you can convert I-Log footage to a final video in any color space you need in post-production, such as ordinary Rec.709 SDR video or Rec.2020 Dolby Vision. If you need to create multiple different versions of the final video, we recommend that you shoot with I-Log first.
