- Update the camera firmware to the latest version
Please refer to: X Series: Check and Update Firmware Version
- Confirm the camera mode
Ensure your camera is set to "USB Mode", "U-Disk Mode", or "Computer Mode".
- X5 and X4 Air: After connecting to a computer with a USB cable, the camera will automatically display the mode selection page. Please tap "Switch USB Mode".
- X3, X2, and ONE X: Before connecting to your computer, please swipe down from the top of the camera screen to enter the "Shortcut" menu, tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > "USB Mode", and switch to the Computer Mode or U-Disk Mode.
- Check the connection method
Confirm if you are using a multi-port hub. If so, we recommend connecting the camera directly to your computer with a USB cable.
- Check the memory card specifications
Ensure you are using a Micro SD / TF card with a speed class of UHS-I, V30 or higher, and pre-formatted to exFAT.
- Check the USB cable
- Try plugging and unplugging the USB cable several times to reconnect your camera to the computer.
- Use the same USB cable to connect your phone to the computer and check if it can be recognized normally.
- If it cannot be recognized normally, the USB cable may be faulty. Replace it with a new one and reconnect your camera to the computer to check if the issue is resolved.
- If it can be recognized normally, then the USB cable is likely not the issue. Please proceed with the steps below.
