X Series: Me Mode

Applicable Models: X3, X4, X4 Air, and X5

Me Mode allows you to directly shoot stabilized, fixed wide-angle third-person videos without the need to reframe 360 videos in post-production. It also supports the invisible selfie stick effect, making it easy to capture exciting moments.

How to enable the Me Mode?

Attach your camera to a selfie stick > tap the icon in the bottom left corner of the camera screen to switch shooting modes, and select "Single-Lens" > find and tap "Me Mode" > select your desired aspect ratio and frame rate > tap the Shutter button.

Description

Me Mode eliminates the need for reframing in post-production and supports direct output in both 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios, making it ideal for high-frame-rate videos in sports scenarios. This mode includes the following two shooting methods for different needs:

Mode Description	With the bottom of the camera as the center of the frame, the camera will record two files. Once recording is finished, the two files will be automatically stitched together to generate a 170° video focused on the bottom side of the camera.	With the top of the camera as the center of the frame, the camera will record two files. Once recording is finished, the two files will be automatically stitched together to generate a 170° video focused on the top side of the camera.
Shooting Tips	Hold the selfie stick and keep it close to your body, making sure the bottom of the camera faces the subject.	Hold the selfie stick and keep it close to your body, making sure the top of the camera faces the subject.
In-Camera Operations	In the Torch Mode, find the orientation switch icon at the bottom right of the shooting preview page and tap it to switch the mode.

1. Can Me Mode media be converted into regular 360 media?

2. Where can I find the Me Mode on X6? / Why the Me Mode is removed from X6?

To make the shooting features more centralized and user-friendly, the Me Mode has been merged into "InstaFrame 2.0" on X6. Following the merged feature has been adjusted on X6 as follows:

A new 2.35:1 aspect ratio is added.
A new manual framing feature is added, allowing you to select people or objects to achieve a 360° intelligent tracking effect.
Direct output 4K flat media is supported, and with backup enabled, you can also export 360 media at up to 8K for post-production editing.

We recommend you try using "Instaframe 2.0".
