X5: I-Log Mode

If you wish to achieve more cinematic media by color grading during post-production, it is recommended to enable the I-Log Mode for shooting. In this mode, the camera can capture a higher dynamic range and richer color details, providing more flexibility in color grading during post-production.

How to enable the I-Log Mode

Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen to access the Parameter Settings page. Tap the I-Log Mode icon to enable or disable this mode.

Please note: The I-Log Mode icon will only appear when you swipe left in shooting modes and specifications that support I-Log.

• Shooting modes supporting I-Log: Video, Loop Recording, and Dashcam Modes with 360 lenses enabled
• Shooting specifications supporting I-Log: 5.7K@60fps and below, 4K@60fps and below

1. Which features become unavailable when the I-Log Mode is enabled on the camera?

• Filter selection is not supported
• Only the H.265 encoding format is supported

2. What color space can be achieved when the I-Log Mode is enabled?

It can reach Rec.709.
