Serial Number (SN): A unique identifier for the camera, consisting of a 14-character combination of letters and numbers (typically beginning with the uppercase letter I). You can check product information via the serial number on the Insta360 official website.

You can find the device's serial number through the following 4 methods:

Method 1: Find on the packaging box

You can locate the device's serial number under the first S/N barcode on the packaging box.

Method 2: Find in the camera settings

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > select "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "Camera Info" to view the serial number.

Please note: If you are using a ONE X camera, power it on, then press the small button to switch to ⚙ > press the large button to enter Settings > find the "!" icon > press the large button to select "About" > press the large button again > view the camera's serial number.

Method 3: Find via the Insta360 app

Connect your camera to the Insta360 app > tap "Me" in the app and navigate to Settings > tap "Device Info" to view the camera's serial number.

Method 4: Find via Insta360 Studio

Open Insta360 Studio on your computer > import the original image > select the original media > tap the icon with "i" in a circle in the right menu bar to open "File Properties", where you can find the camera's serial number.

Method 5: Find on the camera (for X4 and X5 only)

You can also remove the camera battery and check inside the battery compartment, where the serial number is printed.
