Insta360 Studio: How to Adjust FOV

Applicable Models: ONE X, X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, Ace, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

With Insta360 Studio, you can easily adjust FOV (Field of View) of your media during post-production, giving you more freedom and flexibility in your creations!

How to adjust FOV (including Dewarp) in Insta360 Studio

360 videos (.insv)

You can click the "Keyframe" icon and add a keyframe to adjust FOV. This method allows for reframing, meaning you can freely drag the frame or adjust parameters to change FOV.

Six preset FOV options are supported: Crystal Ball, Tiny Planet, MegaView, UltraWide, Dewarp, and Linear.

360 photos (.insp & .dng)

Select the "FOV" option in the lower right corner of the player.

FOV options supported: Crystal Ball, Tiny Planet, MegaView, UltraWide, Dewarp, and Equirectangular Panorama.

Freeframe videos (.PRO_VID)

Click the "Media Processing" icon on the right sidebar of Insta360 Studio, then switch FOV options under "FOV Options".

Supported FOV options: UltraWide, Dewarp, Linear, and Custom.

Please note: When selecting "Custom", you can adjust the field of view (FOV) by adding keyframes or scrolling the mouse wheel.

Wide-angle videos (.mp4)

Insta360 Studio does not support switching FOV or zooming in on media. You must select an FOV option in your camera before recording.

Flat photo (.dng)

In the Editing bar on the right side of Insta360 Studio, click "Media Processing" > "FOV Options".

FOV options supported: MegaView, UltraWide, and Dewarp.

Please note: Flat photos in .jpg format do not support FOV adjustment and cropping in Insta360 Studio.
