FAQ
1. What is the difference between MegaView and UltraWide?
The main differences between MegaView and UltraWide are in the FOV range and image effect:
- FOV range: With most parameter settings, MegaView provides a slightly narrower FOV than UltraWide.
- Image effect: MegaView corrects distortion at the edges of the image, resulting in a more natural-looking image. The correction effect is more ideal when shooting in the landscape mode compared with the portrait mode.
2. Why is the change in the image barely noticeable after adjusting the FOV?
If you are shooting in the Video or Loop Recording Mode, the preview screen will display the FOV changes in real-time.
If you shoot using other shooting modes, the preview screen will not change. You will need to export the video through the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio to see the effect of the adjusted FOV.
