How to connect Mic Pro to the Insta360 app

Method 1: Via an adapter

1. Connect the receiver to your phone's USB-C port using a USB-C adapter. For an iPhone with a Lightning port, use a Lightning adapter.

2. Open the Insta360 app; the device will be recognized and connected automatically.

Please note: Only the receiver supports connecting to the Insta360 app via an adapter; the transmitter must be connected via Bluetooth.

Method 2: Via Bluetooth

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
2. Put the device into pairing mode.
   • For the receiver: Tap "Connection APP" in the Control Center on the screen.
   • For the transmitter: Triple-press the power button to enter the pairing mode.
3. Open the Insta360 app. When you use the app for the first time, it will automatically search for nearby devices. Select the corresponding device from the list of new devices to complete the connection.

Connection confirmation and reconnection

• First-time connection: For the transmitter, single-press the power button to confirm the connection; for the receiver, tap confirm on the screen.
• Subsequent connections:
  • You can put the device into pairing mode, then tap the "Camera" icon at the bottom of the Home page in the Insta360 app to search for and connect the device.
  • Alternatively, in the Insta360 app, tap "Me" > find "Device Settings" > "Connect Device" > tap "Connect", then search for and connect the device.

Please note: When connecting Mic Pro to the Insta360 app via Bluetooth, you can only connect one device at a time. If you need to connect multiple transmitters simultaneously, it is recommended to pair the transmitters with the receiver first, then connect the receiver to your phone via an adapter.

Why are there no setting options after the receiver is connected to the Insta360 app via Bluetooth?

When the receiver is connected to the Insta360 app via Bluetooth, it mainly supports firmware updates, so setting options are not displayed. If you need to adjust settings, first pair the receiver with the transmitter, then connect the receiver to your phone via an adapter. After that, you can adjust various parameters using the Insta360 app.
