Applicable Models: Luna Ultra

Insta360 Luna Ultra supports flexible charging methods. The following provides specific operating procedures and answers to common questions about charging, making charging more convenient and reassuring for you.

How to charge the camera

1. Connecting the camera to a power adapter using a USB cable

It is recommended to use the official USB-C cable that comes with the camera. The camera supports fast charging. You can use a fast charger that supports PD, QC, or DCP protocols, with a maximum charging specification of 15V/3A.

2. Connection for charging

Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the camera and the other end to a power adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet to start charging.

3. Charging time
  • Charging to 80%: About 23 minutes
  • Charging to 100%: About 38 minutes

Please note: The above data is measured at room temperature using a 15V/3A power adapter. Actual charging times may vary under different conditions.

4. Checking the charging status

Depending on the camera's operating status, you can check the battery level and charging progress via the indicator light and screen as described below:

  • When the main unit battery level is lower than or equal to 10%: Power supply to the Detachable Touchscreen Remote is disabled.
  • When an external power source is connected, the main unit is charged to 80% first, then the Detachable Touchscreen Remote is charged to 100%.
2. Usage restrictions for the Detachable Touchscreen Remote

When the main unit runs out of battery but the Detachable Touchscreen Remote still has power, the Detachable Touchscreen Remote cannot be used alone. It must be powered by the main unit to operate normally.
