Insta360+: Cloud Media Download (Export) Issues

Applicable Models: X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, and Ace Pro 2

Persistent failure to export any media

If all media files fail to export and the issue persists, please contact Insta360 Customer Support for assistance.

Partial media / occasional export failure

Scenario 1: Export stuck at 0% or a very low percentage

This may be caused by system queuing during peak usage hours. We recommend waiting approximately 2 minutes, then checking if the export progress is updated.

Scenario 2: iPhone users encounter "Network Error" when exporting media from the cloud

Connect your camera to the Insta360 app and try exporting media directly from the camera to your device via the app (bypassing the cloud).

If export succeeds locally (fails only via cloud)

  1. Confirm whether both 360 and flat video media fail to export via the cloud.
  2. Check your phone's remaining storage space to ensure it is sufficient to store the file to be exported.
  3. If both media types fail to export via the cloud, go to your phone's settings, verify that the Insta360 app has been granted access to your local album, then retry export via the cloud.

If export fails locally (fails both via cloud and locally), only individual media files fail to export, or the issue persists after retrying the above steps, please contact Insta360 Customer Support for assistance.

Scenario 3: Other export issues (e.g., lagging, error prompts, unable to download, etc.)
  1. Update the Insta360 app / Insta360 Studio to the latest version.
  2. Check if your device has sufficient remaining storage space.
