GO Series: Camera or Action Pod Won't Power On

Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

Description

When the Power Button is pressed to turn on the device, neither the indicator light nor the screen responds, and the device fails to power on normally.

Solution

Scenario 1: Failure to power on after underwater use or liquid ingress
  • If no visible signs of liquid ingress are present, place the device in a sealed bag with a desiccant (or bury it in rice) for 24 hours, then attempt to power it on.
  • If obvious signs of liquid ingress are found, please stop using the device and send it back for professional diagnostic in accordance with the instructions at the end of this article.

Scenario 2: Failure to power on in other situations

Step 1: Check if the battery is completely drained

Charge the device using the original data cable for about 20 minutes, and check if the indicator light turns on. If the device powers on, the issue is likely due to a completely drained battery, and this is normal.

Step 2: Reset the device

If the device still fails to power on after charging, try to reset the device.
