GO Series: Camera Abnormally Prompts the Memory Card is Full

Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

Description

When the camera's internal storage and memory card are not full, the icon at the top right corner prompts the memory card is full, which may indicate a reading abnormality.

Solution

GO 3 and GO 3S
  1. Check the firmware version:

Connect to the Insta360 app to check if the current camera firmware is the latest version. If an update is available, the Insta360 app will automatically pop up a firmware update notification. Follow the instructions to complete the upgrade.

  1. ​Restore the camera to factory settings

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the Shortcut menu > tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "Factory Reset" > tap "Confirm".

If none of the above solutions works, please back up important files first, then try formatting the storage space to resolve the issue.

GO Ultra
  1. Check memory card compatibility:

​Ensure you are using a Micro SD/TF card that meets UHS-I, V30 or higher speed class, and is pre-formatted to exFAT. Incompatible memory cards may cause reading abnormalities.

  1. Restore the camera to factory settings:

Swipe down from the top of the touchscreen to access the camera menu > tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "Factory Reset" > tap "Confirm".

If none of the above solutions works, please back up important files first, then try formatting the memory card to resolve the issue.
