GO Series: Charging Issues

Applicable Models: GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra

Scenario 1: The Action Pod fails to charge itself after being connected to a power source

  1. Check temperature: Ensure the environment temperature is between 32°F (0℃) and 104°F (40℃). Extremely cold or hot temperatures may affect charging performance.
  2. Use original accessories: Please use the original data cable and a 5V/2A charger to ensure compatibility.
  3. Clean port: Check if the USB charging port of the Action Pod is blocked by dust, hair, or foreign objects. Gently wipe it clean with a dry cotton swab and try charging again.
  4. Reset devices: Remove the camera from the Action Pod. Press and hold the camera's power button and the Action Pod's power button respectively for approximately seven seconds to reset, and then reconnect to a power source and attempt charging again.

Scenario 2: The Action Pod fails to charge the camera

  1. Remove protective sticker: If using the product for the first time, ensure the sticker on the back of the camera has been removed.
  2. Check ambient temperature: Make sure the operating temperature is within the range of 32°F (0℃) to 104°F (40℃).
  3. Clean metal contacts: Check if the metal contacts on the back of the camera and inside the Action Pod are dirty or oxidized. Gently wipe them clean with a dry cloth or cotton swab, then try charging again.
  4. Reset devices: Take the camera out of the Action Pod. Press and hold the camera's power button and the Action Pod's power button respectively for approximately seven seconds to reset, and then place the camera back into the Action Pod and attempt charging.
