Flow Series: Connection with Apple Watch
Applicable Models: Flow Pro and Flow 2 Pro
With your gimbal connected to an Apple Watch, you can remotely control the gimbal's rotation, zoom, and subject tracking simply through your watch with no operations on your iPhone screen required—unlocking a more flexible and convenient shooting experience.
Please note:
Before connecting, please confirm the following:
- Ensure your iPhone and Apple Watch are successfully paired.
- Ensure your iPhone is running iOS 18 or later.
- Ensure your Apple Watch is running watchOS 11 or later.
Instructions
1. Pair your iPhone with gimbal via NFC
Please refer to: Flow Series: NFC Pairing
Once paired successfully, press the trigger button on the gimbal to activate Apple DockKit (Smart Tracking Mode). The gimbal is ready to track when its indicator light stays steadily green.
2. Enable the Camera Remote app
- Open the "Camera Remote" app on your Apple Watch (as shown in the image below).

- Once you enter the gimbal control interface, the camera app on your phone will be enabled automatically.

3. Remotely control gimbal
- Direction control: On your Apple Watch screen, drag or tap the directional buttons to flexibly adjust the gimbal's rotation direction.
- Subject tracking: Tap the subject you want to track in the preview window on your Apple Watch to enable subject tracking.
- Zoom control: Rotate the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch to control the zoom of your iPhone's camera.
4. Menu settings
Tap the "..." menu bar on your Apple Watch to access the following settings:
- Set a shooting timer
- Switch between front and rear cameras
- Turn the flash on or off
- Enable or disable Live Photo
