Insta360 App: Unable to Download, Install or Update Insta360 App

Applicable Models: ONE X, X2, X3, X4, X5, Ace, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, GO 3, GO 3S, GO Ultra, Flow, Flow Pro, Flow 2, Flow 2 Pro, ONE R, and ONE RS

Scenario 1: Unable to install the Insta360 app on Huawei / Honor phones (or via HUAWEI AppGallery)

Scenario 2: Unable to update the Insta360 app in iOS 12.0 and earlier versions

To provide higher quality and more stable software services and ensure a good product experience, the Insta360 app, starting from version v1.75.0, no longer supports iOS 12.0 and earlier versions.

It is recommended that you update your iOS device to iOS 13.0 or later to ensure compatibility with subsequent versions of the Insta360 app.

Scenario 3: Unable to download, install, or update the Insta360 app on other phones or systems

Please first check if your device is compatible with the Insta360 app by reference to Insta360 App: Device Compatibility.

• If not compatible, we recommend you try downloading and installing the app on another device or using the desktop software Insta360 Studio for editing.
• If compatible, please visit the Insta360 website via your mobile browser to download the latest version of the Insta360 app and do not download it from mobile app stores.

Please note:

• Before updating, ensure your phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid interruptions during the update.
• In case of any issues after updating, we recommend restarting both the Insta360 app and your phone.
• Some new features require the camera firmware to be updated to the latest version for full functionality.
