Insta360 App Compatibility Notes
- Devices with lower specifications than the recommended configuration may still be able to install the Insta360 app and perform basic shooting controls and simple editing. However, when using high-performance features such as AI analysis or high-definition video playback, you may experience lag or delays. If your mobile device temporarily cannot meet the requirements, we recommend using Insta360 Studio on a computer for editing.
- Testing has shown that devices with Qualcomm SDM765 5G chipsets (e.g., OPPO Reno 3 5G) have insufficient hardware decoding capabilities and currently are not compatible with the Insta360 app.
- To install the Insta360 app, you need a phone or tablet that supports a 64-bit operating system. Devices running a 32-bit operating system cannot install the app.
- The Insta360 app is not yet compatible with Android tablets, so it cannot be downloaded from app stores on tablets. Even if installed, it may not function properly for editing or exporting media.
- To provide higher quality and more stable software services, the Insta360 app, starting from v1.75.0, no longer supports iOS 12 and earlier versions. It is recommended that you update your iOS device to iOS 13.0 or later for optimal compatibility.
