Starting from Insta360 app v2.10.0, the paths to the Personal Settings and Account Settings pages have been adjusted. Below is an overview of the specific functional module changes.

How to access the Account Settings page

Tap the new "Settings" icon (⚙) in the top right corner of the "Me" page to access the Account Settings page, where you can configure settings related to account security, notifications, permissions, and more.

Please note:

  • If you cannot find the Account Settings page by following the path above, you can update your Insta360 app to the latest version and try again. To update the Insta360 app, search for "Insta360" in Apple App Store or your device's app store. If an "Update" button appears, tap it to update. Alternatively, you can visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.
  • If you are accessing the new "Me" page for the first time, the Insta360 app will automatically display a guide to help you quickly find the Account Settings page.

How to access the Personal Settings page

Tap "Me" to access your profile, where you can access the Personal Settings page and configure your personal information such as binding your email address and changing your nickname.

1. What login methods does the Insta360 app support?

The Insta360 app supports login using email, Apple ID, Facebook, and Google accounts.

Please note:

  • Currently, the Insta360 app supports changing or modifying the bound email address but does not support unbinding it. Please refer to: Insta360 App: Account Registration, Login, and Deletion
  • If you log in with your Facebook, Google account, or Apple ID, you can unbind them from the Insta360 app.

2. How do I change the email address for my Insta360 website account, Community account, and Insta360 app account?
  • Via the Insta360 website: Visit Insta360 Website > click your avatar to enter "My Profile" > click "Link" for the Email section, enter a new email address, and complete the verification.
  • Via the Insta360 app: After successfully logging into the Insta360 app with your phone number, tap "Me" > tap your nickname at the top of the page to enter the Profile page > tap "Personal Settings" > "Email", enter a new email, and complete the verification.

3. Is the Insta360 app account bound to a specific camera? How to unbind the Insta360 app from a camera?

Your Insta360 app account is not bound to a specific camera. The Insta360 app needs to be connected to a camera in real time to access the camera.

4. Will my drafts be synced if I log into the same Insta360 app account on different phones?

No.

5. How to check the Insta360 app version?

You can check the app version by going to "Me" > swiping down to "App Settings" > "About Insta360" > "App Version".

6. How do I unbind Apple ID, Facebook, or Google accounts from the Insta360 app?

If your Insta360 app account is already bound to one of the aforementioned third-party accounts, you can unbind them via "Me" > Profile > "Personal Settings" > "Unbind account"
