Insta360 App: Bluetooth Wakeup

Applicable Models: X2, X3, X4, X5, Ace, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, GO 3, GO 3S and GO Ultra

The Bluetooth Wakeup feature allows you to wake up and connect to your camera via the Insta360 app, even when the camera is powered off.

Instructions

Before using the Bluetooth Wakeup feature, please ensure your camera has ever been successfully connected to the Insta360 app.

GO Series (Bluetooth Wakeup is supported on both iOS and Android devices)

Open the Insta360 app and tap the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. The app will automatically recognize the last connected device. Then tap "Connect".

Please note: Once the camera has been connected to the Insta360 app, the "Bluetooth Wakeup" feature becomes available. Thereafter, you can directly wake up and connect to your GO series camera via the Insta360 app, even when the camera is powered off.

X Series and Ace Series (Bluetooth Wakeup is supported on iOS devices only)

Open the Insta360 app and tap the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. The app will automatically recognize the last connected device. Then tap "Wake Up".

Please note: Before using the Bluetooth Wakeup feature, please ensure this feature has been enabled in the camera settings during the previous connection session with the Insta360 app.

FAQ

Why does Bluetooth Wakeup fail?

The wakeup attempt may fail for the following reasons:

  • The Insta360 app has not been connected to this camera before.
  • The Insta360 app was previously connected to a different camera.
  • The "Bluetooth Wakeup" feature was not enabled during the last connection session.
  • You are using an Android phone. The X Series and Ace Series cameras do not support Bluetooth Wakeup via an Android device.
