Ace Series: Camera Stops Recording and Prompts Insufficient Memory Card Speed

Ace Series: Camera Stops Recording and Prompts Insufficient Memory Card Speed

Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2

Solution

1. Check the memory card specifications

To ensure recording stability, please use a Micro SD/TF card that meets the UHS-I, V30 or higher speed class specification and is formatted as exFAT (64GB or higher is recommended). If the card speed or format is incorrect, please replace it with a compatible card and try again.

2. Confirm the camera firmware version

It is recommended to connect your camera to the Insta360 app and check for update notifications. If an update is available, please update the firmware first.

Please refer to: Ace Series: Check and Update Firmware Version

3. Format the memory card (media backup required)

If both the memory card and firmware appear normal, you can try formatting the card.

If none of the above solutions resolves your issue, we recommend you apply for Insta360 Repair Service for professional diagnostics.
