Ace Series: Camera Charging
Ace Series: Camera Charging
Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2
The camera supports flexible charging methods, and can be charged using both power adapters and computer USB ports to meet your needs. Below is a detailed guide on operation steps, key precautions, and common charging issues, ensuring a safe and convenient charging experience.
Instructions
Method 1: Charge via a data cable connected to a power adapter
- Prepare the data cable
Priority is given to the data cable supplied with the camera, or a standard USB-A to Type-C cable.
- Charging connection
Open the camera's USB protection cover, connect one end of the data cable to the camera's USB-C port, and the other end to a USB-A charger. Charging will start automatically.

Please note:
- Ensure the camera is charged in an environment with a temperature between 32℉ (0℃) and 104℉ (40℃). Low temperatures may cause slow charging or failure to charge. High temperatures can affect battery life and even pose safety risks.
- Avoid using high-power fast-charging cables, especially those rated 6A or above. Such cables may trigger the camera to turn on automatically, which not only impairs charging efficiency but also may cause unnecessary damage to the device.
Method 2: Charge via the computer's USB port
- Prepare the data cable
Priority is given to the data cable supplied with the camera, or a standard USB-A to Type-C cable.
- Connect the camera to the computer
Plug one end of the data cable into the computer's USB port, and the other end into the camera's Type-C port.
- Select the corresponding mode
- Ace and Ace Pro: After connection, some mode options will appear on the camera screen. Tap "U-Disk Mode" — the camera will charge via the computer's USB port (file transfer feature will be enabled simultaneously).
- Ace Pro 2: After connection, select "Charge only" directly from the camera's mode options to start charging (this mode only supplies power and does not enable file transfer).

The voltage must not exceed the specified maximum limit or drop below 4.75V. If using a charger with a current lower than 1A, the camera can charge normally when powered off, but the charging speed will be significantly slower—we recommend using a charger with a current of ≥1A whenever possible.
