File Transfer
Connect Ace Pro to a mobile phone or computer with the included Type-C cable for file transfer. You can download Ace Pro's files to your phone or PC, then use the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio to edit and export.

File transfer from Camera
Camera File Transfer to App (iOS/Android)
- Connect the camera to your phone via the Insta360 app. Learn how to connect.
- Enter the Album page.
- Tap the multi-select icon in the upper right corner of the page
and select the files you want to download or export.
You can tap the export icon
to save. Do not exit the app or lock the phone screen when exporting.
Tap the download icon
to download the footage to the app album.
If the camera cannot connect to the Insta360 app, check the following:
- Make sure the camera and app are updated to the latest version. How to update?
- Go to your phone's system page to check if Wi-Fi is connected.
- If it is not connected, please enter the Wi-Fi password, restart the camera and phone, then try again.
- If you're still having trouble connecting, you can go to the Wi-Fi page of your phone, tap on the camera's Wi-Fi from the list of networks, click "forget this network" and try to connect again.
- Make sure your phone has opened the GPS and Bluetooth permissions for the Insta360 app.
- If you're using an Android phone, please make sure WLAN+ or Auto Switch Wi-Fi is off (if there is such a setting).
- If you have an iPhone, please go to your phone's system settings page, find Insta360, and check whether the "Local Network" setting is turned on.
Transferring Camera Files to Computer (Mac/Windows)
- Use the official cable to connect the camera to your computer, turn on the camera, and wait for your computer to recognize the files.
- Open the DCIM > Camera01 folder, then copy the photos/videos you want to your PC.
If the camera does not connect to the computer, check the following:
- Make sure the camera is updated to the latest version. How to update?
- Use the official data cable for transfer, unofficial cables may have compatibility issues.
- Check if the camera is turned on.
- Check whether the SD card is compatible and whether the status is normal. What type of memory card should I use

App File Transfer to Mac
iOS Devices
- Connect your iPhone to the Mac, open Finder, then click your iPhone from the options on the left.
- Click "Files" and find "Insta360" in the "Finder".
- Click the small triangle beside the Insta360 icon to open the folder.

- Transfer from Insta360 app to Mac: Open the "DCIM" folder and drag the desired files to a folder on our Mac.
- Transfer from Mac to Insta360 app: Create a new folder and name it "IMPORT" on your desktop, drag your files to the "IMPORT" folder, and then into the Insta360 app folder on your device. After transferring, restart the Insta360 app on the phone to see the files.

Notes:
- The "IMPORT" folder must be named exactly as shown above, with capital letters.
- The transfer progress may not be displayed. Please wait patiently for it to finish.
- Please restart the app to check the files after the transfer is completed.
Android Devices
- Install the Android File Transfer app on your Mac.
- Connect the phone to the Mac, then open Android File Transfer on your Mac. Find the Insta360 album via:
Android > data > com.arashivision.insta360akiko>files > Insta3600neR > galleryOriginal ;
- Copy the files in this folder to your Mac, or drag files on your Mac to this folder, and the transfer between the app and your Windows computer will be completed quickly and efficiently.
App File Transfer to Windows PC
iOS Devices
1.Install the "iTunes" app on your Windows computer.
2. Use the official cable to connect your device to your computer, open iTunes, and follow the device prompts to authorize permission to access your iPhone.
3. After authorization, click the device icon in the upper left corner of iTunes to enter the device file page.
4. Choose "Insta360" from "File Sharing" in the left menu bar.
5. Transfer from Insta360 app to Windows PC: Find the DCIM folder, then click Save. Choose your desired path and click Save.
6. Transfer from Windows PC to Insta360 app: Create a new folder and name it "IMPORT" on the desktop of your computer, then copy the photos/videos to the IMPORT folder. Replace the IMPORT folder in the Insta360 app. After transferring, restart the Insta360 app on the phone to see the files.

Notes:
- The "IMPORT" folder must be named exactly as shown above, with capital letters.
- Restart the app to view the files after the transfer is complete.
Android Devices
- Connect the phone to the PC (some phones may need to be in 'File Management' mode).
- Click: My Computer > Your phone > Internal Storage.
- Find the Insta360 album via:
Android > data > com.arashivision.insta360akiko>files > Insta3600neR > gallervOriginal
- Copy the files in this folder to your PC, or drag files on your PC to this folder.
