Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2
When using the camera for underwater shooting, noticeable distortion or bending occurs at the edges of the frame. This effect is particularly apparent when shooting with the "Dewarp" FOV.
In underwater environments, the difference in refractive index between water (≈1.33) and air (≈1.0) alters the path of light. This causes a physical imaging deviation during shooting, resulting in distortion at image edges.
Use the "UltraWide" FOV for shooting: This FOV option offers a wider field of view, helping mitigate edge distortion caused by light refraction.
Enable the Underwater Mode: By default, the camera will use the "UltraWide" FOV for shooting to help mitigate edge distortion caused by light refraction.
