X Series: How to Retrieve Camera Logs
Applicable Models: X3, X4, X4 Air, and X5
When the camera malfunctions, exporting camera logs can quickly assist after-sales support in troubleshooting and accurately locating issues. The detailed operation steps are as follows.
How to retrieve camera logs
- Insert a usable memory card into the camera first.
- Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu.
- Go to "Settings" > "Camera Info" > "Export LOG", then wait for the log files to be generated and saved to the memory card.

- Connect the camera to a computer via a data cable. You can find and obtain the log files in the camera folder.

Please note: ONE X and X2 do not support direct log export from the camera. If you need to export logs, please refer to Insta360 App: How to Retrieve Logs (Log ID) to export log files via the Insta360 app.
