Ensure that your mobile data connection is enabled. For Android devices, it is recommended to enable the Proxy Mode for the Insta360 app at the same time. If you have a VPN enabled, please disable it before attempting the update again.

We recommend visiting the Insta360 Website to verify if your Insta360 app is the latest version. If not, please update the app first before proceeding with the firmware update.

Open the Insta360 app > tap "Me" > tap "Settings" (Gear icon⚙) in the upper right corner > select "Clear cache".
Please wait patiently for the update to complete. We also recommend recording a video of the update process and noting the total time used.
Please note: A normal update usually takes no more than 5 minutes for new camera models, while older models may require a relatively longer time.
