Insta360 App: File Download and Export Failures

Description

  • Video export failed with Error Code -34 (Retry failure, Code=-34 "Audio Mixer2 graph parse").
  • Export failed with Error Code 71003 (Export failed, Code=71003).
  • Failed to save to the phone's album with the error "Insufficient storage space".
  • Failed to save to the phone's album with the error "Failed to save to phone's photo album. Due to system compatibility issues, the file cannot be saved to the local photo album. Please try modifying the export parameters or update the system version before exporting".

Solution

1. Update the Insta360 app to the latest version

Ensure your Insta360 app is updated to the latest version. To update, you can follow the methods below:

  • Search for "Insta360" in Apple App Store or your device's app store. If an "Update" button appears, tap it to update.
  • Visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.
2. Check your phone's free storage space and clear the cache
  • Ensure your phone has sufficient free storage space on your phone.
  • Clear the cache in the Insta360 app: Open the Insta360 app, tap "Me" > "Clear Cache".
3. Change the save path

If you have an external storage device connected, change the save path to your phone's internal storage.

4. Check your phone's operating system version
  • If you're using an iPhone: Please check if iCloud is enabled. If your phone has sufficient free storage space (e.g., 50 GB or more) and iCloud is enabled, please turn off iCloud and try again.
  • If you are using an Android phone: Please enable "Compatibility Mode".
  • If you are using a HarmonyOS phone: Please enable "Performance Mode".

5. Lower the export parameters

We recommend that you lower the resolution, frame rate, or bitrate of your media slightly before exporting.

6. Replace the export device

If possible, we recommend using another phone or exporting via Insta360 Studio on a computer. Please refer to Insta360 Studio Tutorial.
