If you wish to achieve more cinematic footage by color grading during post-production, it is recommended to enable the I-Log Mode for shooting. In this mode, the camera can capture a higher dynamic range and richer color details, providing more flexibility in color grading during post-production.
How to enable the I-Log Mode
Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen to access "Exposure Settings". Tap the "I-Log" icon to enable this mode.

Please note: Currently, enabling the I-Log mode is not supported when using the following shooting specifications:
- 8K@30/25/24fps
- 4K@120/100fps
- 2.7K@120/100fps
- 1080P@240/200/120/100fps
How to preview color effects in real-time on the camera
- Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen and tap the "I-Log" icon.
- Toggle on the "Color Preview" switch in the lower-left corner.
Please note: The "Color Preview" feature is currently not supported in the following two scenarios:
- Shooting at a 4:3 aspect ratio with 4K@48/50/60fps settings.
- When the Field of View (FOV) is set to "45° Horizon Lock" or "360° Horizon Lock".
FAQ
1. Which features become unavailable when the I-Log Mode is enabled on the camera?
- Clarity Zoom cannot be activated by double-tap
- Active HDR is enabled by default and cannot be disabled
- The encoding format defaults to H.264, and H.265 cannot be selected
- Filter effects cannot be selected
2. Can the I-Log Mode be enabled or disabled when recording is paused?
No.
3. Does a footage file shot in the I-Log Mode take up more storage space?
Yes, it will take up more storage space. The camera uses a higher bitrate when recording in the I-Log Mode to preserve high dynamic range details to the greatest extent, thus resulting in larger file sizes.
4. What aspect ratios are supported when the I-Log Mode is enabled?
4:3, 16:9, and 2.35:1.
