Applicable Scenarios |
|
Wind Reduction |
Reduces interference from wind noise in the environment. |
Outdoor windy conditions, such as cycling. |
|
Auto Wind Noise Reduction |
Supports automatic adjustment based on the current environment to reduce wind noise. |
Suitable for most scenarios like outdoor hiking and travel. |
|
Active Wind Reduction |
Reduces wind noise generated during movement. |
Suitable for high-speed sports like motorcycling and skiing. |
|
Stereo |
Provides natural sound without noise reduction, enabling high scene fidelity. |
Suitable for scenarios like concerts. |
|
Direction Focus |
360 Mode: Highlights voices based on the playback perspective. Wide-angle Mode: Highlights voices based on the lens direction. |
Scenarios with a primary sound source, such as vocal recordings. |
|
Voice Enhancement |
Intelligently reduces background noise in voices, making them clearer. |
Suitable for scenarios like vlogging. |
|
360° Audio |
(Only supported for 360 video recording) Captures sound from all directions, providing a more realistic sense of space. |
Suitable for immersive recordings intended for playback on VR devices. |
|
Intelligent Audio Mode |
The camera intelligently identifies the current shooting environment and automatically selects the most suitable audio mode. *When enabled, the device automatically switches to the optimal audio solution via algorithms and disables all other audio setting options except "Engine Sound Enhancement". |
Suitable for daily vlogging, travel, outdoor hiking, concerts, and other scenarios with vocals and music. |
|
Engine Sound Enhancement |
Enhances engine sounds while blocking wind noise, restoring a sense of presence. |
Suitable for urban commuting by motorcycle, motorcycle touring, and similar scenarios. |
Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to enter the "Shortcut" menu > tap the "Audio Mode" / "Audio settings" / "Audio" icon > select the corresponding audio mode based on your shooting scenario.
The audio recording range is affected by sound volume and environmental conditions. Recommended distances for different models are as follows:

Description |
Applicable Scenarios |
Camera Support |
|
Dolby Atmos |
Surround sound technology, spatial audio format |
Adds height channels and sound objects, allowing sounds to move dynamically in 3D space for a more immersive audio experience. |
Commonly used in cinemas and home theater systems; typically relies on specific hardware support. |
Not supported for all models |
|
Ambisonic (Spatial Audio / Surround Sound) |
Spherical audio encoding, spatial audio format |
A technique for capturing and reproducing 3D environmental sound, capturing sound from all directions to recreate an immersive sound environment. |
Does not rely on specific speaker configurations; suitable for virtual reality (VR), film, concert recordings, and other scenarios. |
Supported only for X6, X5, and X4 Air *Requires the camera recording mode to be set to 360 Audio. |
For scenarios requiring high-definition recording and high sound fidelity, we recommend using the Stereo Mode.
We recommend using the 360 Direction Focus Mode, but the sound optimization effect in underwater environments may not be significant.
This effect is currently not achievable. You can use wind noise reduction accessories (such as a Windshield) to improve audio recording quality. When installing such an accessory, ensure it does not block the lens, as this may affect the clarity of the footage.
