X Series: Transferring Files from Camera to PC

Applicable Models: X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, and X6

By connecting the camera to your PC using the original USB cable, you can quickly enter U-Disk Mode and easily transfer original photo and video files. The following instructions detail the connection steps to help you manage your files efficiently.

How to connect to a PC for file transfer

1. Connect the camera to your PC using the Type‑C cable included in the original packaging.
2. Power on the camera. The screen will automatically display connection options. Choose the corresponding mode based on your camera model:
   • X6, X5, X4 Air, and X4: Select "File Transfer" mode
   • X3: Select "U-Disk Mode"
   • X2: Select "Desktop Mode"
3. Wait for the PC to recognize the camera, and a new drive letter related to your camera name will appear after successful recognition.
4. Open this drive, then navigate to the DCIM > Camera01 folder. Here you can view and copy the original photo and video files from the camera to your PC.

Please note: 

• We recommend using a Type‑C 3.0 or higher USB cable for stable charging and data transfer.
• If you are using an X4 camera, please update the device firmware to v1.5.3 or later to properly support the recommended charging specifications.

What is the logic for switching USB modes on the camera?

Default setting: By default, the camera will automatically enter the "File Transfer" mode upon its first wired connection to a computer. To change the mode, you can tap "Switch USB Mode" to access the mode selection page.

Mode memory: The camera will remember the last used mode and automatically apply it the next time it is connected to an external device.

Please note: If the "Reverse Charging" mode was selected last, the camera will return to the USB mode selection page the next time it is powered on.
