How to enable HDR Photo

HDR (High Dynamic Range) is an image processing technique that preserves more highlights and details in an image, helping to prevent overexposure in very bright scenes and underexposure in very dark scenes. It is recommended for scenes with significant differences in light levels or backlighting. For shooting under intense motion, it is recommended to switch to the "Active HDR" Mode. The specific steps are as follows:

X6

Press the virtual button in the bottom‑right corner to enter the shooting mode switching page > select "360" or "Flat" > swipe to switch to "Photo" > tap the "Shooting Specification" icon > enable "HDR Photo" .

X5 and X4 Air

1. Tap the Shooting Mode icon on the home page > tap "360°" > select "Photo".
2. Swipe up from the bottom of the camera screen, or tap the "Shooting Specification" icon at the bottom to enter the shooting specification settings page > enable "HDR Photo".

X4 and X3

Tap the Shooting Mode icon on the home page > tap "360°" > select "HDR Photo"

How to enable Active HDR

X6

Active HDR is applied by default to videos that meet the following specifications, with no manual activation required:

• 360 Video and InstaFrame 2.0: No parameter limitations.
• Flat Video: HDR does not work at 1x to 1.2x zoom; Active HDR is not supported at 5K resolution.

X5 and X4 Air

1. Tap the Shooting Mode icon on the home page > tap "360°" > select "Video"
2. Swipe up from the bottom of the camera screen, or tap the "Shooting Specification" icon at the bottom to enter the shooting specification settings page > enable "Active HDR"

Please note: On X5 cameras, Active HDR can be enabled at resolutions and frame rates of 5.7K@60fps or lower; on X4 Air cameras, there are no resolution restrictions for enabling Active HDR, but the maximum supported frame rate is 30fps.

Tap the Shooting Mode icon on the home page > tap "360°" > select "Active HDR"
