X Series: Stitching Calibration

Applicable Models: X4 Air and X5

If the camera has dropped or the lens has been replaced, and you notice the image stitching effect is affected, this is usually due to a physical displacement of the lens. In this case, you can use the built-in "Stitching Calibration" feature to quickly calibrate and restore the stitching effect.

Description

Before starting the calibration, please confirm the following conditions are met:

• Accessories: The camera must be in its bare state. This means you must remove all accessories such as the Lens Guard, Dive Case, and Thermo Grip Cover.
• Environment: Perform the calibration outdoors in a well-lit, open, and unobstructed area. Ensure your surroundings include large objects (e.g., trees, buildings) at a distance of roughly 10m.

How to use the Stitching Calibration feature

1. Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > navigate to "Settings" > "Stitching Calibration".
2. After confirming the prerequisites are met, tap "Next" > "Calibrate".
3. During calibration, hold the camera in your hand with one lens facing up and the other lens facing down.
4. Extend your arm, hold the camera away from your body, and keep it still until the calibration is complete.
