Using a Type-C to Lightning cable:

  1. Power on the camera and connect it to your phone using a Type-C to Lightning cable.
  2. The camera will automatically start reverse charging after successful connection. The reverse charging will stop automatically when the camera's battery level falls below 20%.

Please note: In this case, the camera will not power off automatically, and the indicator light will not flash green.

FAQ

1. Can X-Series cameras record while charging?

Yes. However, please note that recording while charging increases power consumption and may cause the camera temperature to rise quickly, depending on the recording mode and heat dissipation conditions. If used in high-temperature outdoor environments (e.g., direct sunlight), the camera should be monitored for its temperature to avoid overheating, which may cause the camera to stop working.

2. Do the cameras support reverse charging and Charge and Record?

3. When the camera is connected to an external power source and recording, does it use power from the external source or the internal battery first?

The camera uses the external power source first.

Please note: The internal battery is only used if the charging speed from the external source cannot meet the power demands of the recording/standby mode. In this case, both the external source and the internal battery supply power, consuming the battery's charge.

4. Why is the officially supplied charging cable slightly loose when connected to the camera's charging/USB port?

To ensure smooth insertion and removal of the charging cable, a slight gap is designed between the cable and the USB port, which may cause a slight loose fit. Please be assured this does not affect charging or normal operation of the camera.

5. Will using a fast-charging adapter damage the camera or its battery?

No. Please feel free to use compatible fast-charging adapters.
