To ensure optimal imaging, it is recommended to use the lens kit tools correctly during installation and removal. This article provides instructions for installing and removing the Replacement Lens Kit.

How to install/remove the lens?

Environmental requirements for lens replacement

• To prevent moisture ingress and fogging: Before replacing the lens, use a hygrometer or a phone humidity testing app to check the indoor humidity level. If the humidity is higher than 60%, run the air conditioner in dehumidification mode for at least 1 hour.
• To prevent dust from entering and affecting image quality: Try to perform the operations in an indoor space with minimal dust.

Lens removal steps

1. Align the orange mark on the lens grip tool precisely with the white mark on the lens ring (black ring). Ensure the tool is securely engaged with the lens ring.

2. Following the indicator on the lens grip tool, apply gentle force and slowly rotate the tool counterclockwise for at least two full rotations. Once confirmed that the lens ring is firmly attached to the tool, carefully remove the lens ring.

3. Use the provided removal tool to carefully remove the lens. During this step, take care to avoid scratching the internal lens components.

Lens installation steps

1. Before installation, carefully inspect the inside of the camera to ensure it is free of dust and dirt.

2. Use the included suction cup to place the lens smoothly and accurately into its position on the camera.

3. Ensure the lens ring is fitted into the lens grip tool, then lay the camera flat on a stable surface.
4. Following the direction indicator on the lens grip tool, apply gentle force and slowly rotate the tool clockwise for approximately two full rotations to tighten the lens ring. Ensure the white mark on the lens ring aligns with the microphone. If not, make minor adjustments. Note that it is not necessary to screw the lens ring all the way down tightly.
5. After installation, swipe down from the top of the camera screen, tap "Settings" (Gear icon⚙), and select "Stitching Calibration" to calibrate the stitching feature and ensure it works properly.

Please note:

• During the operation, it is recommended to place a lens cleaning cloth under the camera to prevent accidentally scratching the lens on the opposite side.
• It is advised to wear disposable gloves during the process to avoid directly touching the new lens with your hands, which could soil it.
