X Series: Installation and Removal of MicroSD Card

Properly installing a memory card (microSD card) is essential for ensuring smooth shooting and stable data storage. This article provides instructions on how to correctly install and remove the memory card.

How to install or remove a MicroSD card

1. Press the battery cover latch with your finger, then slide the cover open in the direction indicated on the latch.

1. The microSD card slot is located next to the battery compartment. Refer to the image below, align the metal contacts of the microSD card with the slot, and insert it in the correct direction.

1. To remove the memory card, gently press the edge of the inserted card with your fingertip, and it will automatically pop out.
2. Once installation is complete, replace the battery cover and push it back into place until it locks. Be sure to check that the orange mark on the cover’s hinge is completely covered and not exposed to ensure proper water resistance.

X5, X4 Air, X4, X3, X2, and ONE X

1. Slide the battery cover latches towards the center simultaneously and remove the battery.
2. Insert the memory card into the card slot in the direction indicated on the card until a click is heard, confirming it is properly seated.
3. To remove the microSD card, gently press the installed card with your fingertip, and it will automatically eject.
4. After completing the operation, reinsert the battery and ensure it is fully locked with no orange mark visible at the latches to maintain the device's water resistance.
