Q2 How is the X5's heat dissipation performance?

Electronic devices like cameras may produce heat during normal operation. The effectiveness of heat dissipation can be influenced by the shooting environment.

We recommend shooting in windy conditions or while in motion and to appropriately lower shooting parameters (such as reducing resolution and frame rate) to help the device dissipate heat more effectively. Additionally, check out our Cooling Screen Protector accessory to reduce the impact of direct sunlight on your X5's temperature.

Q3 If X5 triggers overheat protection, will the content being recorded be saved?

Yes, the camera will automatically save the content being recorded.

Q4 Can the camera be submerged in water to cool it down?

We don't recommend it. Although the camera is waterproof, submerging it in water can cause rapid temperature changes and increase the risk of damage. To prevent this, we recommend removing the battery and letting the camera cool down in a naturally ventilated environment. If the camera becomes very hot and immediate cooling is necessary, we suggest turning off the camera and placing it at a safe distance from an air conditioner vent or fan to help it cool down quickly. However, please avoid placing the camera too close to the air outlet to prevent potential damage.
