Q1 Which phones/tablets are compatible with X5?

The following devices have been tested for compatibility with the Insta360 app. The app requires a modern smartphone with adequate processing power to enable its powerful features.

Please note:

• Devices that do not meet the above requirements may still be able to use the app to control the camera. However, the performance of some processor-intensive and AI-powered features may be suboptimal.
• Phones equipped with Qualcomm SDM765 5G chips, such as OPPO Reno 3 5G, have inadequate hardware decoding functionality and are not supported.
• App installation requires a mobile phone with a 64-bit system. 32-bit systems are not supported.

Q2 What if my phone or tablet doesn't meet the compatibility requirements? Can I still use X5?

X5 offers multiple filming and editing options. Even if your smartphone or tablet doesn't meet the minimum performance requirements, as long as you can install the Insta360 app to activate your camera, you can use X5.
