FAQ
1. What is the transfer speed of the Quick File Transfer feature?
In real-world testing, the transfer speed is up to 20MB/s. Actual transfer speeds may vary depending on phone hardware performance and Wi-Fi connection stability.
2. Does the Insta360 app need to keep running in the background on the phone when using Quick File Transfer?
Yes, please keep the Insta360 app running in the background during the transfer; otherwise, the transfer will be interrupted.
3. Can 360 media shot with X6 be directly transferred and saved to the phone album via Android Quick Share?
No. To ensure the media can be recognized and previewed properly by your phone, you must first convert 360 media to flat media before performing the Android Quick Share operation.
4. What should I do if there is no response when touching the NFC sensing area or the feature does not work?
You can troubleshoot in the following order:
- Make sure the camera is powered on and the screen stays on. For Android phones, also ensure the NFC feature is turned on.
- Locate the sensing area correctly: The phone's NFC sensing area is usually near the rear camera (the exact position varies by brand and model). You can move your phone slightly and repeatedly touch it against the camera's NFC sensing area to test. For iOS devices, try holding the phone slightly upright against the camera's NFC sensing area, with the top tilted, and gently swipe up and down (as shown in the figure below) to improve the success rate of detection.

- Remove interference: Keep metal objects away from the NFC sensing area and close any other apps with active NFC access.
- Update software: Update your phone's system and the Insta360 app to the latest versions and try again. To update the Insta360 app, search for "Insta360" in Apple App Store or your device's app store. If an "Update" button appears, tap it to update. Alternatively, you can visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.
If NFC still does not work, you can refer to X Series: How to Connect the Camera to the Insta360 App on a Phone/Tablet to connect to the Insta360 app manually.
