For 360º cameras, the Insta360 stitching algorithm automatically combines the images from each lens to create a seamless 360º view. If you encounter stitching problems, such as visible stitch lines, follow these guidelines:

1. Before Filming

• Use Official Accessories:

  • Use only official Insta360 accessories rather than third-party ones to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Ensure accessories like Lens Guards are installed correctly.

• Keep the Selfie Stick Stable:

  • Avoid twisting the selfie stick. Keep the two lenses parallel to the stick to achieve optimal stitching.

• Preview in the App:

  • Use the Insta360 App to preview your shot and assess how it looks before you begin filming.

2. During Filming

• Position the Lenses:

  • Stand facing one of the lenses while filming, rather than positioning yourself between the two lenses.
  • Have the other lens directly facing the subject to minimize stitching issues.

• Maintain Distance:

  • Keep subjects at least 3.3ft (1m) away from the camera to reduce the visibility of stitch lines.
