Please note:

  • You can make the camera enter the lowest power consumption state and extend its standby time by removing and reinstalling its battery after power-off or directly removing the battery.
  • It is also recommended to turn off the Bluetooth Wakeup feature to effectively reduce the standby power consumption.

FAQ

1. Can the camera be charged overnight? Will it damage the camera?

No, it will not damage the camera. The camera has a charging protection mechanism similar to mobile phones, and it automatically stops charging once fully charged. However, to maintain long-term battery health, it is recommended to disconnect the power supply promptly after it is fully charged.

2. Does enabling in‑camera stitching on the X5, X4 Air, or X4 increase the camera's power consumption?

Enabling in‑camera stitching has a negligible impact on the camera's power consumption and can be ignored in daily use. Please use it with confidence.

3. Why is the battery life of X4 Air shorter than that of the X5 and X4 when shooting in the 6K mode?

The battery life of X4 Air in the 8K shooting mode has been optimized and improved compared to X4. However, in the 6K mode, the overall power consumption of the camera is higher due to the different operating modes of the image sensor. Additionally, since X4 Air has a more compact body and limited battery capacity, its battery life in the 6K mode is slightly shorter than the 5.7K mode of X4.

4. In actual use, why doesn't the X5 Ultra Battery achieve the official rated battery life of 235 minutes?

The official 235‑minute battery life is a standard test result measured in a constant‑temperature laboratory environment at 77°F (25°C), with the Endurance Mode enabled, recording 5.7K@24fps panoramic video. Actual battery life is affected by factors such as temperature, shooting parameters, and usage modes, and reasonable discrepancies may exist.

Please note: We recommend updating the camera firmware to v1.3.0 or later. The new version optimizes power consumption control, effectively improving overall battery life.

5. If the camera runs out of battery during shooting, will the media be automatically saved?

When the camera battery is about to run out, it will prioritize automatically saving the current media before stopping recording, preventing file loss.
