Formatting X3

It is recommended to periodically transfer camera files to a mobile phone or computer for backup, and format the camera’s internal storage to avoid abnormal storage issues.

Format via X3

1. Insert the microSD card into X3.
2. Turn on X3.
3. Swipe down to enter the Shortcut menu, tap [Settings] icon, then tap [Camera Storage] > [Format Storage].

Format via Insta360 app

1. Connect X3 to your phone via the Insta360 app; Learn how to connect.
2. Enter the Settings page, then tap Other Settings > Camera Storage > Format Storage.

Note: When formatting the card by computer, it needs to be in exFAT format, and the allocation unit size should be default.
