Solution

It is recommended that you go to the Insta360 Website, update your Insta360 Studio to v5.8.4 or later and try importing the media again.

Optimized handling logic for corrupted frames in the new version of Insta360 Studio:

  • When playing media with corrupted frames, it will no longer report an error or stop playback.
  • Instead, it will replace the corrupted frame(s) with a red image displaying "Corrupted Frame".

  • Only the segment containing the corrupted frame is affected; the rest of the media plays normally.

You can import your media into the Project page of Insta360 Studio, trim out the corrupted frames directly, and then use the media as normal.

Please note: Currently, corrupted frames cannot be repaired and can only be removed by trimming.

If you still encounter the above pop-up error messages when playing media after updating Insta360 Studio to v5.8.4 or later, please contact Insta360 Customer Support for assistance.
