Insta360 Studio: Failed to Add Stats

Scenario 1: Unable to find the Stats option in Insta360 Studio

Description

When editing media in Insta360 Studio, the "Stats" option cannot be found on the Media page.

Solution

If the Stats feature is not working properly, please verify that the media type and GPS data source meet the requirements:

• Check if the media type supports adding Stats

Unsupported media types: Media shot in the Timelapse, Starlapse, TimeShift, Slow Motion, and Bullet Time Modes.

Since the media shot in the above modes incorporates speed variations, the GPS data cannot be precisely synchronized with the image. Therefore, adding Stats to this type of media is not supported. Media shot in all other shooting modes supports adding Stats.

• Check if the GPS data source supports synchronization

Please note:

• Insta360 Studio does not currently support importing data from "GPS Activity Stats".
• "GPS" on the shooting page and "GPS Activity Stats" are two different features with distinctions outlined as follows.

Scenario 2: The Stats option is visible, but GPS data cannot be synced

Description

When editing media in the Insta360 Studio, the Stats option appears on the Media page, but GPS data cannot be synced.

Solution

Please confirm your recording method of GPS data. If you are using a Garmin device, please try the following steps:

• When binding your Garmin device, check the "Sync Historical Data" option to ensure that data is fully synced to Insta360 Studio.
• Insta360 Studio only supports retrieving Garmin activity data from the last 88 days. To sync historical data older than 88 days, please import FIT files.
