III. Update your computer's graphics card driver

Outdated graphics card drivers may lead to abnormal editing performance. You can follow the steps below based on your computer's operating system (Mac/Windows):

Mac

Graphics card drivers on Mac are updated along with macOS system updates:

  1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen and select "System Settings" or "System Preferences".
  2. Click "Software Update", and the system will automatically check for available updates.
  3. If applicable updates are available, click "Update Now". After completion, the graphics card driver will be updated simultaneously.

Please note: For devices like Mac Pro that support discrete graphics cards, the graphics card driver is also installed automatically with macOS updates.

Windows

Graphics card drivers can be updated automatically via "Device Manager", or you can manually download updates from the graphics card manufacturer's website:

  • Method 1: Update via Device Manager
    1. Right-click the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of the desktop and select "Device Manager".
    2. Expand "Display adapters", right-click the name of the graphics card currently in use, and select "Update driver".
    3. Select "Search automatically for drivers", and the system will automatically find and install the latest driver.
  • Method 2: Manually update the driver via the graphics card manufacturer's website

For some graphics cards, you need to visit the graphics card manufacturer's website, search for and download the latest driver based on your graphics card model. Below are the official driver download links for common graphics cards:
