Applicable Models: ONE X, X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, Ace, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, GO 2, GO 3, GO 3S, and GO Ultra
Scenario 1: An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5. Access is denied

Solution
- Close the old version of Insta360 Studio that is currently running, then try the installation again.
- If the issue persists, open Task Manager to ensure that the old version of Insta360 Studio is closed.
Scenario 2: Setup was unable to create the directory. Error 5: Access is denied

Solution
Try running the installer with administrator privileges, or switch to an administrator account to perform the installation.
Scenario 3: This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running.

Solution
This error occurs because Insta360 Studio is designed for CPUs based on the X86 architecture and is incompatible with CPUs based on the ARM or MIPS architecture.
If possible, use a computer that is based on the X86 architecture and runs a 64-bit operating system for installation.
Please note: Insta360 Studio is not currently supported on Linux.
Scenario 4: The drive or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select another

Solution
This error is typically caused by issues with the computer's hard drive or user permissions. It is recommended to change the installation path for Insta360 Studio (e.g., if you originally try to install it on the C: drive, choose the F: drive during reinstallation).
If the issue persists, we recommend you contact the official customer service of your computer manufacturer for further assistance.
Scenario 5: The code execution cannot proceed because OpenCL.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem

Solution
Please visit Insta360 Downloads to re-download Insta360 Studio and try running the installer a few times to see if it works.
Scenario 6: MFxxx.dll was not found
Due to restrictions on Windows N versions in the EU region, which lack the Media Feature Pack by default, Insta360 Studio will not function. We recommend you refer to the solution provided by Microsoft. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Scenario 7: The installer crashes with no error message, and Task Manager shows the installer process as "Suspended"
Solution
- Please update "Palm Input" to the latest version, or try uninstalling it.
- Visit Insta360 Downloads to re-download Insta360 Studio and try running the installer a few times to see if it works.
Scenario 8: Error message says: "The paging file is too small for this operation to complete."
Solution
This error is caused by insufficient virtual memory on your computer. You can set the virtual memory size by following the steps below and then reinstall Insta360 Studio:
- Press Win + R keys on your keyboard simultaneously, type "sysdm.cpl" in the "Run" window that appears, and then press Enter.
- In the "System Properties" window that appears, click "Advanced" > "Performance" > "Settings".
- In the pop-up "Performance Options" window, click "Advanced" > "Virtual Memory" > "Change".
- In the "Virtual Memory" pop-up window, uncheck "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives", and in the drive list, select the fastest drive (preferably the one where Stable Matrix is installed).
- Select "System managed size," click "Set" > "OK".
- After completing the above steps, please try installing Insta360 Studio again. If the issue persists, repeat steps 1 through 4, and continue with the following operations in the "Virtual Memory" window:
Select "Custom size" > Enter 16384 MB (16 GB) in "Initial size", and 32768 MB (32 GB) in "Maximum size" > Click "Set" > "OK".
