How to export files

1. Select an export method

Method 1: In Insta360 Studio, right-click on the photo or video > select "Start Export".

Method 2: Directly click the "Export" icon in the top right corner of the page

2. Confirm export parameters

In the Video Export Settings window that appears, adjust the parameters based on your needs.

3. Check export progress

You can click the "Task Center" icon in the top right corner to view the progress of your export tasks.

4. Check exported files

Click "Export Records" in "Task Center" to view the files that have been successfully exported.

How to export Interval or Starlapse photos as a video

1. Ensure you have more than 24 Interval or Starlapse photos to convert.
2. Click to select the footage on the left side of the Media page. A yellow border will appear around the footage when it is successfully selected (Note: Do not select the photos at the bottom).
3. Click "Export". In the Photo Export Settings window, adjust the parameters as needed to export the photos as different types of video.

FAQ

1. Does Insta360 Studio support batch export? / What is the maximum number of files that can be exported from Studio? / How many files can I export at once?

Insta360 Studio supports batch export with the following limits:

• Batch export to local storage: No quantity limit. Files are exported one by one in the order they are added to the export queue.
• Batch export to cloud storage: A maximum of 10 files can be exported at once.

2. Where are the footage files saved once they are exported from Insta360 Studio?

When exporting footage, you can customize the save path in the Video Export Settings window. If you do not manually select a path, the system may use the default folder.

3. Why can't I select the option to export the source file in Insta360 Studio?

The option to download the source file is only available when you have selected a trimmed 360° footage or a trimmed footage with post-production stabilization applied.

4. What is the export speed range for videos in Insta360 Studio?

The video export speed depends on your computer's performance, not on Insta360 Studio itself. If your export speed is slow, try enabling hardware acceleration to improve it: In Insta360 Studio, go to Settings > User Preference > Codecs > Exporter Codec.

5. What file formats does Insta360 Studio support for export? Can files be saved in POV or MPEG format?

Insta360 Studio supports exporting files in the following formats: JPG, MP4, DNG, MOV, and INSV.

It does not support saving files as POV or MPEG format.
