A clip can be interpreted as an editing draft or project file. Each clip independently records a set of editing data for the corresponding media, including all editing operations such as framing, keyframe setting, speed adjustment, and stitching.
For the same piece of 360 media, you can create multiple clips to save different framing options and editing parameters. This allows you to export files with various framing options applied without deleting original data.
Click the "Clip Management" icon on the right panel, and a clip will be generated by default. All your editing operations, such as speed adjustment, stitching, keyframe setting, and deep tracking, will be recorded in real time in the current clip.
The new clip will use the default parameter settings. You can adjust framing and editing parameters based on these settings to achieve different effects.
The copied clip will inherit all editing data from the original clip for your modification as needed, saving time on repetitive editing.
The system will always retain at least one clip and will not allow deletion of all clips.

No. If you cannot find your previous project files, you can locate them through the following two methods:
Open Insta360 Studio, navigate to "Preferences" > "File Path Settings" > "Project Files Save Path", and follow the path to view your project files.
Download the search tool "Everything" and perform a global search using the keyword "insprj" (refer to the image below for expected results).
Please note: If you have previously modified the default storage path for project files and can no longer find the original path, it is recommended to use Method 2 first.
These three types of files mainly differ in the content they store:
This can be achieved by simply adding new clips. You can edit the same media in different ways in each clip, and the editing effects will be stored separately in each clip.
