FAQ

1. Why can't I add keyframes in Insta360 Studio?

If you are unable to add keyframes, please check the following:

  • Confirm whether the media is an original 360° video or an original FreeFrame video shot by GO 3.
  • If adding keyframes on the Project page, you must select a flat aspect ratio (i.e., any ratio other than "2:1 (360° Panorama)") when creating the project and importing the media.
  • If adding keyframes on the Media page, you must select "Video" as the export format.

2. Why don't keyframes take effect when exporting a 360° video?

Keyframes are used to adjust and freeze specific video frames. However, a 360 video needs to maintain its continuous 360° nature and cannot display discrete keyframes like a flat video. Therefore, keyframes do not take effect when exporting the media as a 360 video. For keyframes to take effect, you must export the media as the "Video" format.
